Tamada gets his first podium finish of season

Makoto Tamada, in his first race weekend in the Asian Road Racing Championship, achieved a solid 5th and 3rd  at the season opener in Sepang International Circuit.

With a set-up that did not satisfy Tamada, he went on marking his personal best in Race 1.  However, his tires did not allow him to push from about half point of the race.  He held tight to his 4th position throughout the whole race, but allowed his teammate, Ryuta Kobayashi to pass him at the final corner of the final lap, and ended up fifth.  His teammate, Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman (Honda) won his first Asian Championship Supersports race, and Katsuaaki Fujiwara(Kawasaki) came in second.
